Beta list and early-access invitations

What we collect and why
When you join the beta list we keep:
- your email address, and the first name and the simulators you choose to tell us (both optional);
- the time you joined, the version of the consent wording you saw, and whether and when you confirmed;
- a hash of part of your IP address, made with a secret key, which we use only to limit repeated sign-ups from one network. The address itself is not stored.
We use this to send you one confirmation email, to send news about the beta and the launch, to choose testers, and to email the testers we choose a personal invitation. The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a). You give it by ticking the unticked box next to the button. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email we send from the list, or by writing to privacy@co-buddy.com. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.
You are on the list only after you click the link in the confirmation email. If you never do, we delete your address after 30 days.
We also count how many people press the button. That count has no personal data in it, and the page sets no cookies and uses no analytics.
Invitations
If we choose you, we email you a personal link and a code. When you create a Co-Buddy account with that link or code, we add the plan we offered (Private or Commercial) to your account free of charge. The code works once and only for the email address we sent it to. We keep the code, the plan, the time and the account it went to until the list is deleted (see below); the plan on your account stays.
Who receives it
Our service providers for the website, outgoing email and storage process this data for us: Cloudflare (the relay that receives the form), Resend (which sends our email, using its EU sending region), Convex (the database) and Vercel (which hosts the website and sees the network address of each page request). We do not sell the list or share it with anyone else.

You can ask us at privacy@co-buddy.com to see, correct or erase your data, or complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), https://www.imy.se. When you unsubscribe, your email address, name and simulators are erased at once. An invitation we have not yet used is deleted; a used one keeps only the code and the account it went to.
